Last Dinosaurs

Last Dinosaurs @ The Baltimore Soundstage, MD

Last Dinosaurs is an indie rock band out of Australia. They were my first ever photo pass last year when they hit the 9:30 club in DC, and when I saw they were coming back to Maryland, I just knew I had to be there.

At the beginning of last year, I had never even heard of the Dinos. It was early March, and my coworker (who was a huge fan) had an extra ticket to their upcoming show and offered for me to tag along. I thought, “Why the hell not! I should apply for a photo pass.” I got my first ever approval and had an absolute blast.

I thought it was so cool that the Dinos offered a free meet and greet to the first 100 people in line. A lot of people want to meet their favorite bands, but most bands charge incredibly high prices for that to happen. But not with the Dinos. It makes them come across as super kind and genuine dudes.

Once the music started, I immediately fell in love with them. Not only was the music good, but they also drew in such a good crowd. Everyone was super kind, the vibes were great, and everyone was moving along to the music the entire concert. On my way home, I started listening to their discography and couldn’t get enough.

So earlier this year, when I saw they were hitting Baltimore Soundstage (one of my favorite venues), I just HAD to be there. I was so stoked when my photo pass was approved!

The whole venue came alive once the Dinos came onto the stage. That is always one of my favorite moments at a concert - standing in front of the barricade, the band walking on, and the whole crowd erupting. It is such an awesome energy, and such an amazing experience.

I absolutely love the chill vibe of the Dino’s music, whether I’m driving down the highway at midnight, at a party, or at one of their concerts. From my experience, they always put on such a good show, and you are bound to have such a good time at one of their concerts.
